How to Purchase a Goat from Us:

Thank you for your interest in adopting a Nigerian Dwarf Goat from our farm! We’re excited to help you welcome a new member into your family. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to secure your goat and what to expect throughout the process.

Picking the Right Goat!

  1. Make sure you are legally allowed to keep goats where you live.

  2. Decide what your goals will be for your new goat "herd";

  3. Our goats are for dairy, showing, lawn maintenance, home care products such as lotion and soaps, and most important are very much a love being a pet! (Our goats are NOT for meat and will not be sold for consumption).

  4. Do some research before buying your goats.

  5. Buy more than one goat to get started (NEVER buy just one).

Step 1: Choosing Your Goat

Once you see our latest litters and decide which goat you'd like to adopt, please reach out to us via email or phone. We will provide you with all necessary information about the goats available for adoption.

Step 2: Holding Your Goat

To hold a goat from a new litter, we require a non-refundable deposit of $50. This deposit will reserve your chosen goat until you are ready to complete the purchase.

Step 3: Payment Options

You can pay the $50 deposit using one of the following methods:

-Cash App: : Send your deposit to Venmo or Paypal. We will send you the account upon request.. Please include your name and the name of the goat you are reserving in the payment note.

The remaining balance for the goat will be due at the time of pickup and must be paid in full before removing your goat.

Step 4: Scheduling Pickup

Once you've secured your goat with the deposit, we will work with you to set a pickup date that works for both parties. Please contact us via email or phone to arrange a convenient date and time.

Step 5: Preparing for Your Goat

Before your visit, please ensure you are prepared for your new goat. We recommend having:

Proper housing: A clean, secure shelter that protects them from the elements.

Fencing: Strong fencing is essential since goats are naturally curious and can escape if given the chance.

Feed and water: Ensure you have suitable goat feed and a constant supply of clean, fresh water.

AAdditional Information

As part of our commitment to ethical goat ownership, all of our Nigerian Dwarf Goats come vaccinated and with a health checkup. Once you adopt from us, you become part of the Little Ponderosa Goats Family. We’re here to guide and support you in your goat parenting journey!
